Silent Disco Club Night with Gonzo’s Two Room
Sue Lambert Trust hosts silent disco club night this August in partnership with Gonzo’s raising money to support survivors of sexual violence.
New for Norwich this summer, Norfolk charity Sue Lambert Trust is launching a silent disco club night event in partnership with Radio 1 award-winning nightclub, Gonzos.
It takes place on Friday 1st August, from 7pm until midnight, in an inflatable nightclub space, outside The Forum in Norwich.
Tickets are now on sale for this one-of-a-kind event, priced £20 each. Expect a night of world-class club music, a mobile cocktail bar, giant glitterballs and glitter face paints, with the Sue Lambert Trust silent disco club night featuring live sets from Gonzo’s very own DJ’s Lu, Lily Ann and Levi Fruits.
For those who want to dance all evening long, there is also the option for people to sign up to a sponsored five-hour danceathon. All proceeds raised will be used by Sue Lambert Trust to support victims of sexual violence and sexual abuse, funding its specialist counselling and therapy services.
This new event will be very different to a typical club night. Instead of loudspeakers, everyone will be given a pair of wireless headphones, with different DJ sets played out through the headsets on transmitters. It means club- goers can choose which setlist they want to listen and dance to.
Sue Lambert Trust is Norfolk’s leading charity supporting people who have experienced sexual violence or sexual abuse. It provides access to specialist support via its team of professional quality counsellors who deliver 12 months of one-to-one therapeutic support for each client, at no cost to the individual. This counselling enables people to work through their trauma and begin to heal, offering that lifeline of support to almost 600 people in Norfolk last year.
