Redlingfield Summer Fayre
Old Fashioned Fun in the Sun. Traditional fun and games will be the order of the day.
The villagers plan to capture the spirit of days-gone-by with old-fashioned events for young and old. Among the events planned are old sports-day favourites – egg-and-spoon, three-legged and sack races – as well as traditional stalls, plant sale, raffles and games such as splat-the-rat.
There will also be refreshments, a BBQ and licensed bar. The Fayre starts at 2pm and goes on until till late. Admission is free and parking is available.
The Summer Fayre is raising funds to support Redlingfield village and the Doorstep Green. Redlingfield is unusual in that it doesn’t raise a local Council Tax but instead holds fundraising events throughout the year.
