International Women’s Day Community Banner Making Workshop
Oxfam Diss is collaborating with designermakers21 as part of their “Have a Go” day, running a free community banner making workshop to celebrate International Women’s Day in March.
We are inviting people to come along and personalise a fabric square to celebrate women’s achievements and highlight women’s issues in whatever creative way they want!
The squares will be joined together to form a banner in the style of the ones used in the original Suffrage movement and will displayed in Oxfam’s shop window in March.
This workshop is free, with all materials provided-we just need your creativity, ideas and enthusiasm, but most importantly, your voices!
The other activities on “Have a Go” day are paid for – £5/adult, £2.50/Under 18.
