Wrap up warm and get the whole family ready for Wynterfest on Saturday, 7th December. From Noon – 6pm Wymondham will be buzzing with festive activities, live music, street entertainers and a live broadcast by Radio Wymondham. The much-loved reindeer shall be returning this year and will be found on Fairland Street.

Visitors will find activities and entertainment throughout Wymondham town centre, from Fairland Street through Market Place, all the way up to the war memorial. Local businesses, churches and community venues will also offer loads to see and do. Make sure to plan enough time to explore all the fantastic venues taking part, as well as for gift shopping in the numerous shops along the way.

The Lighting Up Wymondham Parade will kick off at around 3:30pm and is the big light switch on Wymondham has been waiting for! The parade will take visitors on a festive journey from The Arts Centre on Church Street up to The Market Cross, lighting up Wymondham along the way. It will finish with Christmas Carols where everyone can take a moment to see Wymondham lit up and in full festive spirit.

One of this year’s highlights includes the arrival of Santa himself in his sleigh. He will then be excitedly waiting in his grotto in Wharton’s Court, ready to meet all his young visitors.

The Ex-Services Club will again be hosting the “Made in Wymondham” craft market, a great opportunity to browse and purchase some lovely local handmade products.

The high street will be lined with stalls featuring festive food and warming drinks, as well as a variety of other wonderful local products.

In addition to all the festivities, don’t miss the Family Fun Fair on Middleton Street. Of course there will be plenty to treat adults too, including mince pies and mulled wine to keep you warm.

Make sure you have Saturday 7th December from 12-6pm in your diary. The Wymondham Town Team volunteers look forward to seeing you there!
