Waveney Valley Canoe Club Open Day
If you’ve never been in a canoe or kayak but fancy having a go, here’s your chance. Coaches at the canoe club will be running free taster sessions throughout the day. The canoe club will supply the boats, kit and safety equipment. One of their coaches will supervise your session and help start your paddling adventure.
Dress to get wet and take a towel and clothes to change into after your session. There are changing rooms and showers in the boat house. Bring a packed lunch so you can take a break from having fun on the water and enjoy a picnic on the riverbank.
Nucleus Watersports will be showing a range of canoes, kayaks, stand up paddle boards and other equipment throughout the day. If you are thinking of getting a boat or board, their staff will help you decide what type of craft will suit you best.
