The Choir of Trinity College, Cambridge
The Choir of Trinity College, Cambridge, recently named by Gramophone Magazine as one of the top five choirs in the world, will present Sounding Heaven & Earth, a programme celebrating choral music old and new from the British Isles, with works by Thomas Tallis, Judith Weir, C V Stanford and others.
The concert is organised by Music in Country Churches and hosted by St Peter and St Paul Church. Music in Country Churches is celebrating its 35th season of holding wonderful concerts with internationally recognised musicians in rural churches. Since 1989, it has made donations of over £600,000 to help rural churches with costs of maintaining their buildings.
