Schubert: String Quintet in C Major.
A chance to hear Schubert’s last chamber work scored for string quartet plus extra ‘cello, performed by a stellar ensemble. .
This is generally regarded as Schubert’s finest chamber work as well as being
one of the finest compositions in all chamber music.
The artistes are Rosemary Warren-Green, Kathryn Parry, Wendy Gudgin, Harriet Bennett,
David Bucknall. There will be a Special Guest appearance by top conductor and violinist Christopher Warren-Green.
