Diss Christmas Lights Switch-On
A free community street festival across Diss Market Place.
Highlights: Live music stages featuring My Choir Rocks and the Corn Hall Panto Cast.
Community Carols: Churches Together leads the traditional “5 Carols at 5” sing-along around the town Christmas tree, accompanied by the Stowmarket Concert Band.
Diss Museum Festive Stall – from 4.30pm.
Running alongside the lights switch-on, Diss Museum hosts a local holiday pop-up stall.
Bonus: This marks one of Father Christmas’s official local stops in town for families to browse handmade local gifts.
Then, at 6pm, it’s time for the BIG LIGHTS-ON COUNTDOWN!
Joining us on stage will be Graham Cole from The Bill – who also stars in this year’s panto – along with special guests to help us count down to Christmas in Diss.
And the celebrations don’t stop there! Popular high-energy function band, Soundhouse, will keep the party going until 7pm.
Bring your family, bring your friends and bring your Christmas spirit!
