Come & meet Sally B Dearman who as a private pilot, flew herself into Royal Air Force Cranwell for her Initial Officer Training. After six years’ service as a fighter controller, she re-rolled to the pilot branch & became the first woman through the RAF’s fast-jet flying training system. In this talk, Sally shares what led her to become the first woman through this system, some animal facts relating to military flying & how to attract or repel noisy jets depending on your proclivity.
