Bergh Apton Church Event – Story-teller, Ashley Ramsden
Friday 20th May 6.45 pm
Renowned storyteller, Ashley Ramsden, tells the story of ‘Tistou of the Green Thumbs’
Bergh Apton Church, School Road, NR15 1BX
A story for adults and children over 8 years of age. In tune with the themes of climate concerns, COP26 and the ware in Ukraine, Tistou is a story central to our future; funny, touching, full of colourful characters.
Tistou doesn’t fit in at school…. but then it is discovered that he has a special gift; where Tistou touches, flowers grow. He makes flowers grow in slums, prisons, and hospitals. His masterpiece: he causes the guns to shoot flowers and a senseless war is ended. It is then that the people discover he was an angel.
Tickets: Adults £14, children 8-15 £7. (Suitable for children over 8 years).
