Angles Way Filling Station
We are excited to have reopened in September 2021 after 18 months’ break. We are also delighted to announce that we have now changed our name to Angles Way Filling Station (from Ouse Valley Filling Station). This more accurately reflects the area where we are based on the Suffolk/Norfolk border, where the rivers Waveney and Little Ouse meander through the countryside with The Angles Way long-distance footpath running close by.
Our meetings are designed to help to bring renewal to the existing Christian church and are open for all to attend: for anyone who is interested in learning about Jesus and for all those growing in the Christian faith. We believe that we all can experience the powerful presence of God through the Holy Spirit’s working in our lives. We wish to work in unity with all local churches where Filling Station meetings occur. Filling Station meetings are places where people are taught to worship in Spirit and in truth, where a new community of friendships are established and where God’s truth, love and provision are declared and celebrated. We meet in Garboldisham Village Hall on the second Friday of the month and, as the hall is very spacious, face masks will be entirely optional, but we do ask you to be respectful of those who may prefer more space around them. Seating will be arranged so that you can sit together or further apart, as you wish. There will be adequate ventilation in the hall, with some windows open, so you may wish to bring an extra layer. We hope that you will enjoy the freedom to worship with us after such a long break.
This month our theme will be ‘The Presence of God’.
Prayer ministry will be available at every meeting, with sensitivity to an individual’s desire for personal space.
Refreshments will be available from 7:15pm and we look forward to welcoming you to our meetings. Do join us and bring your friends.
