In Memory of Sam Wainwright, who passed away on 27 December 2025 at just 22 year of age.
Sam had a liver transplant at two years old and throughout his life he had numerous health battles. He was an inspiration to everyone who knew him. He was a very popular student at the UEA, where he was studying for his psychology degree.
Sam was dedicated to raising money for Children’s Liver, Disease Foundation (CLDF); his last fundraising event was running the Helsinki Marathon in 3 hrs 27 mins, where he raised over £1,000.
All proceeds for the event go to Children’s Liver Disease Foundation in memory of Sam Wainwright.
