A Forensic Science Talk
Mary Newton is back at Shelfanger Village Hall to give another fascinating talk on the cases she worked on during her career as a Forensic Scientist. The title of this talk is “Rape, short word long sentence.”
This is a crime that affects women and men, boys and girls of all ages. If you are interested in how Forensic Science supports the police in these investigations, come and listen to Mary Newton talk you through the science and the research involved in a down to earth and at times, humorous way.
Mary will cite some of the big cases she worked on to illustrate the work involved. Mary was the United Kingdom’s forensic rape lead trainer and advisor for the majority of her 40 year career in London, so has a great deal of knowledge on this subject.
