Orpheus Britannicus: UEA Chamber Choir Concert
The UEA Chamber Choir warmly invite you to join them for their spring concert, ‘Orpheus Britannicus’, on Sunday 11 March at 6.30pm at St George’s Church, Tombland, Norwich.
The 30-strong choir, under the direction of UEA Choirmaster Tom Primrose, will explore the music of Henry Purcell – Britain’s Orpheus – as well as some of the composers who were friends, contemporaries or simply influenced by the finest British musician of his day and many thereafter.
The choir will be accompanied in their performance by organist William Falconer.
The concert will be performed in the beautiful, medieval surroundings of St George’s Tombland.
The concert is free to attend and all are welcome.
