Course outline:

The importance of a hedgehog in the ecosystem
Revision from Introductory: Hedgehog menu; habitat; year; things you can do to help
Parasites and wider issues
How to tell if a hedgehog is sick
When to intervene

Hedgehog numbers have dropped alarmingly in the past ten years and we fear up to a third of the UK’s population has been lost. Participants on the course will be encouraged to become Hedgehog Advocates and guided to understand how to provide support for this endearing and endangered creature.
