Enchanting Festival of Music returns to Oulton for a third year!
Next month sees the third annual return of the enchanting Oulton Chapel Festival of Music and Craft Fair on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th of July.
Each evening, the Congregational Chapel in Oulton, Norfolk transforms into a concert hall for the Festival of Music, featuring spectacular performances of classical music from accomplished musicians.
Saturday offers an evening performance of the music of Monteverdi and his contemporaries, featuring Tenor, Andres Hernandez Salazar accompanied on harpsicord by David Wright.
On Sunday evening concert goers can enjoy a performance by The Julian Ensemble singing Mozart, Bach and Handel.
Concert tickets for either evening performance can be purchased for £12 each, with wine and a buffet included in the price.
Throughout the weekend, the chapel will also host the Summer Craft Fair, including a range of local craft displays, along with live music to suit a variety of tastes.
All are welcome to attend the Craft Fair for free and there will be a beer tent and good selection of refreshments available to purchase throughout both days.
The festival has been organised by Mr James Huggins on behalf of the Norfolk Historic Buildings Trust who are pleased to welcome one and all to Oulton Chapel for this summer’s event. He said, “We welcome all to come along and enjoy this opportunity to experience a variety of musical interludes in a truly atmospheric setting.”
